French President Francois Hollande met with injured Theo in hospital on Tuesday as he attempted to quell unrest over the incident
The claim came as President Francois Hollande visited Theo in a bid to quell a wave of anger over the incident on a suburban council estate.
He later needed surgery for injuries he sustained in the brutal assault – sparking an outbreak of violent unrest in Paris.
That led Hollande to visit Theo on Tuesday.
